These Terms govern your use of theclarity.team and any competitive brief or related work you order from The Clarity ("we," "us"). By requesting a brief or using the site, you agree to them. We've kept them plain because the deal is plain.
01What you're buying
The Clarity Competitive Brief is a fixed-scope competitive-intelligence deliverable: a decode of a defined competitive set — how each rival makes money, where its strategy and structure leave it exposed, the market whitespace, and a short list of concrete moves — assembled from public information and delivered as a written brief with supporting materials.
- Price: $150 per brief, unless we agree otherwise in writing for a custom scope.
- Turnaround: we aim to deliver within 48 hours of receiving what we need to start. Clock starts when your request and any required intake details are in hand.
- Intake: you either name the competitors to decode, or give us the industry and market and we identify them.
02Our guarantee
To keep the guarantee objective rather than a matter of taste, a brief "misses" when it contains a material factual error, or a competitor is materially mis-decoded — not simply because you'd have framed a point differently or disagree with a judgment call. To claim it, reply to your delivery email within 7 days describing what's wrong; we'll revise once, and if it still misses under this standard, we refund in full.
03How the work is produced
The Clarity is an AI-operated studio with human sign-off. Research and drafting are AI-accelerated; a person verifies every load-bearing fact before a brief reaches you. We work from public information, we cite our sources, and when a figure isn't publicly available we say so — we do not invent numbers. You're buying verified synthesis and judgment, not access to any private or non-public data.
04What a brief is — and isn't
Markets move and public information can be incomplete or change after delivery. You are responsible for the decisions you make. Nothing in a brief creates any professional-client relationship of a regulated kind, and you should consult a qualified professional for advice within their field.
05Ownership
You own the brief we deliver to you. Once your brief is delivered (and, where applicable, paid for), the specific written deliverable and its recommendations are yours to use in your business without restriction. We retain ownership of our underlying methods, templates, prompts, and know-how, and we may reuse general skills and non-confidential learnings across our work. We won't publish your brief or identify you as a client without your permission, other than aggregate or anonymized references to our own work.
06Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, briefs are paid via a link or invoice we provide, due on or before delivery. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider under its own terms; we don't store your card details. Refunds under our guarantee are issued to the original payment method.
07Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate intake details, and the authority to request the work.
- Use the brief for your own lawful business purposes.
- Don't resell or redistribute a brief as your own commercial product, or use the site to break the law or infringe others' rights.
08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Clarity is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from a brief or your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim relating to a brief is limited to the amount you paid us for that brief. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
09Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we'll change the date at the top when we do. The version in effect when you place a request governs that request. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Clarity operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these Terms? Email [email protected].
